Just so it's known, LJ is being a little bit touchy on my computer and for some reason won't load my main journal page, or any subsequent pages, so I'm not able to reply. If anyone knows how to fix this, then that would be dandy C:

So I was talking about moving to another uni, but I've met with a hiccup. Seems that I've missed the application deadlines already. If I were to apply now there would be some HORRIBLE HORRIBLE charges. So, I'm met with the rather distressing prospect of having to wait another year. Anyone who knows I already waited 2 years to become a citizen of Australia will know that this would really really upset me.

But I shall try not to let it get to me.... not too much.... *fume*

So I've started looking into mid year stuff, and a few other alternatives. Nothing that promising yet, but I've got exams coming up and I have to put some energy into studying.

Other than this though, I'm feeling happy for America with your new, awesomesauce president, and wish you luck with him. Although, it's always promising when someone running the country can at least construct a proper sentence XD

Wow, it's been nearly a year since I used this thing. I think it's about time I dusted the old thing off and used it. I'm not sure what the main function of this will be, but I recon daily dealings and sketchblog would be about the thing I'm going for. *nodnodnod*

SO LETS GET STARTED!

So I've been wanting some tattoos for a while now (and by a while, I mean years) so I've been sketching up some ideas for something fun!

I've been wanting this bad boy for a while, or something like this. A cat with an eyepatch has basically become my icon. I use it a lot, although not online all that often for some reason...

Anywho, I also thought that this:
Or something similar would be nice accross the shoulder. I'm not 100% about this one though as I only really thought of it last week.

Also looking into some other courses at uni. I'm totally sick of maths and physics and chemistry. It's kinda depressing that I think I've found my intellectual limit. I feel that if I really focused and studied all the time and had no life I could do it, but I don't think that I have the drive anymore. I looked at the kind of careers that I would head into, and none of them seemed like anything I would enjoy, even if they were well paid.

No, I've decided that this course is not for me, and I'm going to finish my exams and then take action. Into what, I don't know. I'm thinking maybe an art course? Something dual? Perhaps my ability at maths will help should I want to become an architecht. I remember really wanting a job like that when I was younger... maybe it's still attainable?

Also been watchin Gurren Lagann with a friend. I forget sometimes how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE that anime

I think I'm obsessed with Rhythm and dance games....

On another note, I should be hearing about my Citizenship soon. Here's hoping they don't hate my guts and kick me out!

Concerning citizenship and travel

Well, I've been having trouble with the whole citizenship thing. Just when I think I've finally got the ball rolling some bitch comes and kicks it back in my face! I was informed that I specifically needed my original registered Birth Certificate.... and after discovering that no one knew where it was, I proceeded to have a cow...

So now I'm having to wait for it to arrive in the post (postponing my interview for another fortnight). I just have to be thankful that my father still lives near Edinburgh, so it was easy enough for him to go the the registry office. But this extra 2 weeks is really cutting it fine for my traveling...

I'm hoping to get to Edinburgh for christmas, but still be able to come back and go to uni! I know I'm cutting it really fine, but I want to go and see my dad get remarried.

The plan hopefully will end up like:

late Nov- Early Dec - in UK
mid Jan - Wedding
late Jan - back to Aus
early Feb - To Brisbane
Late Feb - Start uni

which seems simple enough until you try and put it into practice! I mean it's November already!!! AAAAAAH!! Where did the year go? *headdesk* and the more hiccups I encounter the more stressed I'm getting. I HATE being stressed!

Just when you think you've just about acclimatised to a place, it jumps up in your face and yells "NOWAIBIATCH!"

So now I'm in my room with the ceiling fan on full, sitting directly under it and thinking.... "it's not even the heat of summer yet....aw snap!"

You see people this is what happens when you jump between climatic extremes!!

I recon this will be a better place to post all those pesky sketches that I like, but are just a little too sketchy for my galleries. Hopefully with will also prompt me to start drawing with something akin to quality rather than speed
